LASU suspends 25 students over examination malpractices

Recently matriculated over 3,000 on Tuesday for the 2016 /2017 Lagos State University matriculated academic session, the Lagos State University Management suspended 25 students over failure to appear before the Students Disciplinary  Panel,(SDP) investigating alleged examination misconducts leveled against them, sequel to decision taken at the 37th Statutory meeting held by the panel at the main campus of the University.

Majority of the students which were said to be in their final and semi final years failed to show up and face the panel to defend themselves. Allegations that ranged from impersonation and smuggling “chips”, Some of them also allegedly engaged in similar act during the 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 sessions.

it was directed that they should be re-invited for trial while serving their suspension, while they liaise with their various Faculties for a new date of invitation.
